Women in Planning and Development will be organizing a panel discussion featuring four women with distinguished careers in planning and real estate discussing career negotiation skills applicable for women at a variety of career stages.

Panelists include

  • Donna Pugh, Partner and Land Use and Zoning attorney, Foley & Lardner, LLP
  • Dr. Susanne Cannon, Chairman of the Department of Real Estate and Director of the Real Estate Center at DePaul University
  • Chris Slattery, Director of Planning & Development for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County
  • Jamie Simone, Program Director, Chicago Urban Parks Program, Trust for Public Land

The event will be hosted at the offices of Foley & Lardner, 321 North Clark Street, Suite 2800 (on the opposite side of the river from the Clark/Lake El stop).  


Please note that the building doors at the 321 North Clark Street entrance lock at 6:00PM. If you arrive after 6:00, please use the Dearborn entrance, which is connected to the Westin River North at 320 N Dearborn St. There will be someone to greet you in the lobby of the Dearborn entrance side to assist in check you in. From there you will proceed to the 28th floor. Please make sure to bring a photo ID with you for the lobby check in.

 

Registration begins at 6:00 and the panel begins at 6:30. We greatly appreciate your prompt arrival so that we can begin the panel on time.The panel discussion will be from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Guests are encouraged to stay for an additional hour of networking that will feature complimentary appetizers, wine and beer. This event is free for members and $15 for non-members. Registration is required.
