Kalindi Parikh

Director of Planning at the Chicago Loop Alliance 

Kalindi Parikh is the Director of Planning for the Chicago Loop Alliance, the organization that manages the business improvement district for downtown Chicago. Her work currently focuses on creating plans and reports about the Loop, including the State of the Chicago Loop Economic Profile, the Arts in the Loop Economic Impact Study, and the upcoming State Street Corridor Plan. She also produces creative public art programs and public space interventions in the Loop.

Kalindi currently serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee Chair for the American Planning Association Illinois Chapter and is a Board Member for Heal Chicago, an organization focused on cross-industry racial justice and healing.  She has a Master’s in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor’s in City and Regional Planning from Ohio State University.

Please Note: This is a members-only event limited to five (5) participants.  Registration is now open . Registration occurs on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fills up quickly. Zoom link for the event will be sent upon registration. 

Attendance & Cancellation Policy: We ask that members register for no more than two (2) consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and would like to attend this event, please register via the usual process, and we will place your name on the wait list. If space becomes available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you. Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask for a 48-hour cancellation notice. Failure to notify us in advance may result in a 3-month suspension from the Networking Lunch series.
