Join WP+D for a Zoom networking brown bag on Wednesday, August 19 from 12:00 PM-1:00PM to talk with this month's featured guest: Pascale Ife Williams is a cultural organizer, liberationist, healing justice practitioner, and vision and space creator.

Pascale Ife Williams is a cultural organizer, liberationist, healing justice practitioner, and vision and space creator. Williams is a Chicago native with over 10 years of experience in justice-driven arts and community-engaged work that explores and complicates racial, gender, and wellness equity. She seeks to engage communities through radical imagination, strategic visioning, and the activation and facilitation of creative and spiritually expressive praxes (theory + action). Ife graduated in 2015 from DePaul University with a BA in Community Psychology and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the School of Human Ecology: Civil Society and Community Research program. She is a founding member of both the Healing & Safety Council in BYP100 (byp100.org) and the P.O.W.E.R. Collective (UW Madison).

Ife is currently the Program Coordinator for the Creative Lab for Cultural Leaders (CLCL) and RE-TOOL 21: Art Preparation Development Program and will continue as co-facilitator for CLCL during fall programming, alongside her new position as Visiting Faculty in the Department of Arts Administration and Policy at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ife’s biological and chosen tribe are most precious to her. Her eight year old child is a constant source of humility, inspiration, and radical praxis.
