Join WP+D for a networking brown bag on Friday, June 26 from 12:00 PM-1:00PM to talk with this month's featured guest: Anna Lee, Director of Community Impact for the Chicago Community Trust.

Anna Lee is director of community impact at The Chicago Community Trust. In this role, Lee manages the Trust’s strategic efforts in preventing and ending homelessness, decreasing food insecurity, increasing access to public benefits, public policy and advocacy and strengthening the nonprofit sector.

Prior to joining the Trust, Lee was the director of operations for Year Up Chicago, leading strategic planning efforts and overseeing day-to-day operations for the organization, which provides young adults with skills development, corporate internships and wraparound support. Before her work at Year Up Chicago, Lee was the director of research, reporting & communications, and later the director of strategic partnerships and management, at the Chicago Housing Authority.

Lee’s public sector experience includes directing the contracting process at the City of Chicago’s Department of Family and Support Services, and overseeing federally-funded community development grants at the City’s Office of Budget and Management’s Empowerment Zone. Lee earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Boston College and master’s degrees in divinity and public policy, both from the University of Chicago. She currently serves on the board of Chicago’s Continuum of Care, which works to prevent and end homelessness in Chicago.

Please Note: This is a members-only event limited to five (5) participants.  As with every WP+D Small Networking Lunch, registration will open at 12:00PM on the first day of the month during which the lunch will be held. Registration occurs on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fills up quickly.

Attendance & Cancellation Policy: We ask that members register for no more than two (2) consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and would like to attend this event, please register via the usual process, and we will place your name on the wait list. If space becomes available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you. Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask for a 48-hour cancellation notice. Failure to notify us in advance may result in a 3-month suspension from the Networking Lunch series.
