Join WP+D for a networking brown bag on Wednesday, July 17th from 12:00PM-1:00PM to talk with this month's featured guest: Sara Disney Haufe, Associate at Sam Schwartz, a traffic and transportation planning and engineering firm.
Sara Disney Haufe, PE, PTOE, is an Associate at Sam Schwartz, where she is responsible for project management and business development in the areas of traffic engineering, parking analysis & management strategies, and transportation planning. During her 14-year career as a transportation consultant, Sara has delivered solutions to clients in the public and private sectors on a variety of project types, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments; expansion and revitalization efforts for campuses and downtown districts; and large-scale infrastructure improvements. Through this experience, she has developed a strong conviction for the foundational role of transportation in the land use industry and strives to leverage her profession to foster livable and successful communities. Sara earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is an active resident in her neighborhood of Lincoln Square, where she has lived for the past nine years with her husband and schnauzer.
Update: Sara was recently named ULI Chicago's 2019 Young Visionary!

As with every WP+D Small Networking Lunch, registration will open at 12:00PM on the first day of the month during which the lunch will be held. Registration occurs on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fills up quickly. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch; food is not provided. Meetings are held in Randolph Square on the 1st Floor of the Cultural Center. Look out for one of our board members and WP+D signage.
Attendance & Cancellation Policy: We ask that members register for no more than two (2) consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and would like to attend this event, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on the waitlist. If space becomes available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you. Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask for a 48-hour cancellation notice.
