Join WP+D for a networking brown bag on Wednesday, March 14th from 12:00PM-1:00PM to discuss professional development and career plans with this month's featured guest: Angie Truitt, Senior Partner at Joseph Chris Partners, a recruiting agency in the Real Estate Development and Construction industries.
Angie Truitt is a Senior Partner at Joseph Chris Partners, an executive recruiter in the real estate market. Angie grew up as a military brat where she developed a talent at an early age for developing and maintaining relationships that would later become invaluable in her career as a recruiting professional. She started out in retail sales management during and after college. She attended law school, graduating from Baylor University in 1999. She practiced law for 13 years where she learned to be a keen listener, critical thinker and skilled communicator. However, after years as an attorney she decided she didn’t want to be a lawyer so she made the transition into recruiting in the real estate and construction industries. Her job as a recruiter has allowed her to offer her clients authenticity, creativity, and a genuine desire to build relationships. Her goal is to make people happy.
Please join us as we ask Angie to share her knowledge and experience in recruitment to provide guidance to our members who are currently looking to update their resumes, are actively looking for employment, are seeking to transition to another career, or simply want to hear about what employers are looking for in potential candidates.
Please Note: This is a members-only event limited to five (5) participants. As with every WP+D Small Networking Lunch, registration will open at 12:00PM on the first day of the month during which the lunch will be held. Registration occurs on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fills up quickly. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch; food is not provided. Meetings are held in Randolph Square on the 1st Floor of the Cultural Center. Look out for one of our board members and WP+D signage.
Attendance & Cancellation Policy: We ask that members register for no more than two (2) consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and would like to attend this event, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on the waitlist. If space becomes available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you. Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask for a 48-hour cancellation notice. Failure to notify us in advance may result in a 3-month suspension from the Networking Lunch series.
