Join WP+D for a networking brown bag on Wednesday, November 15th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. to discuss professional development and career plans with this month's featured guest, Karen Przypyszny, Senior Vice President of equity placement at National Equity Fund, Inc.
Karen Przypyszny serves as National Equity Fund Inc.’s senior vice president of equity placement in the investor relations department. National Equity Fund® is a nonprofit Chicago-based affiliate of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and a leading syndicator of Low Income Housing Tax Credits.
Since joining NEF in 2000, Przypyszny has capitalized on her extensive career in community development first restructuring and streamlining NEF’s acquisition department and its procedures and more recently contributing to the growth of investment opportunities for NEF’s proprietary investors.
Przypyszny began her career as a project planner with the City of Chicago Department of Housing, followed by working as a housing development officer for the Illinois Housing Development Authority. While at Enterprise Social Investment Corporation, she was instrumental in assisting in the development of many state and local equity funds prior to moving to Banc One Community Development Corporation where she was the senior vice president of equity and lending.
This is a members-only event limited to five participants. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunches. Meeting area will be arranged in the Randolph Square on the 1st Floor of the Cultural Center.
As with every WP+D Small Networking Lunch, registration will open at 12:00 p.m. the first day of the month during which the lunch will be held. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fill up quickly.
Attendance & Cancellation Policy:
Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask for a 48-hour cancellation notice if you are unable to attend. Failure to notify us will result in a 3 month suspension from the Networking Lunch series.
We ask that members register for no more than two consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and are interested in attending this event, please e-mail us at email@example.com asking to be put on the waitlist. If spaces become available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you.
