Join WP+D for a networking brown bag on Wednesday, December 13th from 12:00PM-1:00PM to discuss professional development and career plans with this month's featured guest: Angie Marks, Vice President of Real Estate at Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives (CNI).
With nearly 20 years of experience, Angie oversees the planning, entitlement, financing and development of all of CNI’s commercial real estate projects. Prior to CNI, Angie served as Deputy Commissioner for the Chicago Department of Housing and as Director of Redevelopment at Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago. Angie earned her undergraduate degree and Masters of Urban Planning at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Angie is a member of the board of directors at Housing Opportunities and Maintenance for the Elderly (H.O.M.E.).
About CNI: Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives was formed in 2010 to coordinate resources, economic development and neighborhood revitalization efforts in Chicagoland’s low-to-moderate income neighborhoods. CNI seeks to revitalize neighborhoods and create jobs by developing high impact projects, providing financial resources to entrepreneurs and sustaining long-term community partnerships. Learn more about CNI at https://www.cnigroup.org/.
Please Note: This is a members-only event limited to five (5) participants. As with every WP+D Small Networking Lunch, registration will open at 12:00PM on the first day of the month during which the lunch will be held. Registration occurs on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fills up quickly. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch; food is not provided. Meetings are held in Randolph Square on the 1st Floor of the Cultural Center. Look out for one of our board members and WP+D signage.
Attendance & Cancellation Policy: We ask that members register for no more than two (2) consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and would like to attend this event, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on the waitlist. If space becomes available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you. Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask for a 48-hour cancellation notice. Failure to notify us in advance may result in a 3-month suspension from the Networking Lunch series.
