Join WP+D for a networking brown bag on Wednesday, October 26th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. to discuss professional development and career plans with October's featured guest, Harriet Festing, Director of Water Programs and Rain Ready at the Center for Neighborhood Technology
Harriet Festing is an entrepreneurial environmentalist recognized nationally for her leadership in climate resilience and sustainable development. She has worked on a broad range of issues including water, energy, agriculture, transportation, regional resiliency planning, building performance and retrofits, community engagement and environmental justice. She has a track record in identifying market trends and opportunities, and establishing innovative multi-million dollar services to capitalize on these opportunities. Under Harriet’s leadership, more than $12.5m is currently being invested in disadvantaged communities in order to reduce urban flooding. This is a result of the pioneering, multi-award winning RainReady service that she established in 2014 in her role as Program Director for Water at the Center for Neighborhood Technology.
This is a members-only event limited to five participants. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunches.
As with every WP+D Small Networking Lunch, registration will open at 12:00 p.m. the first day of the month during which the lunch will be held. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fill up quickly.
Attendance & Cancellation Policy:
Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask for a 48-hour cancellation notice if you are unable to attend. Failure to notify us will result in a 3 month suspension from the Networking Lunch series.
We ask that members register for no more than two consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and are interested in attending this event, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org asking to be put on the waitlist. If spaces become available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you.
