Join WP+D for a networking brown bag on Wednesday, May 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. to discuss professional development and career plans with May's featured guest, Krista Kahle Elam, Director of Sustainable Economic Development at North Branch Works.
Krista lends her considerable community planning and development expertise to the North Branch Works. She worked as a consulting urban planner for over ten years, with projects all over the country, before entering the non-profit world. At North Branch Works, she oversees much of the business outreach; interacts with other organizations, public and elected officials to promote business growth and retention; and provides management and support of our local economic development efforts. Krista received her BA from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI and a Masters of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati, OH. She is excited about the opportunity to work on implementing economic development plans and watching as these projects transform lives and the community.
This is a members-only event limited to five participants. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunches.
As with every WP+D Small Networking Lunch, registration will open at 12:00 p.m. the first day of the month during which the lunch will be held. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fill up quickly.
Attendance & Cancellation Policy:
Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask for a 48-hour cancellation notice if you are unable to attend. Failure to notify us will result in a 3 month suspension from the Networking Lunch series.
We ask that members register for no more than two consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and are interested in attending this event, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org asking to be put on the waitlist. If spaces become available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you.
