Join WP+D for a networking brown bag on Tuesday, February 16 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. to discuss professional development and career plans with February's featured guest, Heather Schady, Senior Transportation Planner at the Active Transportation Alliance.
Heather Schady is passionate about strengthening communities and improving residents’ quality of life. During the past decade, she has worked as an organizer and planner in Boston, New York, and Chicago, focusing on many aspects of community planning, including non-motorized transportation, affordable housing, open space, and land use. In her current role as Senior Transportation Planner at Active Transportation Alliance, Ms. Schady has worked with dozens of communities and school districts to plan for and design facilities for pedestrians and cyclists and craft Complete Streets policies. She holds an MA in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University and a BA in Sociology and German from Illinois State University.
This is a members-only event limited to five participants. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunches.
As with every WP+D Small Networking Lunch, registration will open at 12:00 p.m. the first day of the month during which the lunch will be held. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fill up quickly.
Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask that members register for no more than two consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and are interested in attending this event, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org asking to be put on the waitlist. If spaces become available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you.
