Join us for Women in Planning and Development's annual Membership Picnic on July 15th at Millennium Park's Pritzker Pavilion. The picnic is a way to thank our members for their involvement in the previous year and invite new women to get involved.
The Grant Park Orchestra will perform Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet. Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet captures the tenderness and fury of Shakespeare's beloved drama. Written in response to World War II, Stravinsky's turbulent Symphony in Three Movements is startling in its breadth of energy and complexity. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. We will be located on the east side of the lawn towards the back--look for the WP+D banner.
Heavy appetizers and refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own blanket or chairs.
Be sure to register so that more information can be provided in case of rain.
