Join WP+D for a networking brown bag on Wednesday, October 29 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. to discuss professional development and career plans with October's featured guest, Eve Pytel, Director of Strategic Priorities at Delta Institute!

Eve manages Delta’s programs focusing on sustainability, new markets and waste material. Before joining Delta, she served the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus in Chicago as the director of environmental initiatives and led the Clean Air Counts Program. Pytel has won numerous awards and published nearly a dozen papers, including several regarding the devastating effects of emerald ash borer. She earned a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Public Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and received a B.A. in liberal arts from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland.  Eve is a refugee from Boston and arrived in 1999 attracted by great culture, the lake and food.

Join us October 29th to network and to hear more about Eve's current work and career path.  There will be a WP+D sign at the table where we will meet.

This is a members-only event limited to five participants. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunches.

As with every WP+D Small Networking Lunch, registration will open at 1:00 p.m. the first day of the month during which the lunch will be held.  Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and typically fill up quickly.

Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask that members register for no more than two consecutive lunches. If you have attended the past two lunches and are interested in attending this event, please e-mail us at wpdchicago@gmail.com asking to be put on the waitlist. If spaces become available or registration isn't full a week in advance, we will contact you.
