Join WP+D for a networking lunch on Thursday, July 31, 12:00 - 1:00 PM to discuss professional development and career plans with July's featured guest, Carole Morey, Chief Planning Officer at the Chicago Transit Authority!

Carole Morey left the private legal sector in 2006, where she specialized in finance, real estate, and construction, to join the CTA. She was promoted to General Manager of Construction in 2007, and managed over $400 million of CTA construction projects before being named Vice President of Infrastructure, where she oversaw the Infrastructure capital construction program and the development of the CTA's design/build and alternative procurement construction program. In January of 2014, she took over at the Chief Planning Officer.

Carole has a Law Degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Northwestern University. All members interested in public transportation, project management, and construction are encouraged to register.

Join us at the Chicago Cultural Center Cafe to network and to hear more about Carole's current work and career path.

This event is open to five WP+D members. Bring your own lunch.

Due to the popularity of these lunches, we ask that members register for no more than two consecutive lunches.
